KING, MARCUS RAMSEY - Our precious son went to be with the Lord suddenly on Saturday, May 21, 2005. He was born on May 4, 1988 and from that day forward, changed our lives completely. For seventeen years Marcus permeated our lives with a smile, sense of humor and quick wit that was heaven-sent. He was an exceptionally inquisitive, bright and intelligent young man with a great love and aptitude for science. His memory will linger with us and remain a part of our lives forever. Our tears flow and our hearts ache for we miss you so badly, but our hope and faith remain in the Lord Jesus Christ that we will, without question, unite with you again. Son, all of us - Mom, Dad, Laren and beloved Maggie the beagle - will hold you in our hearts forever. Marcus is preceded in death by his grandparents Reverend Loy and wife Dell Ramsey and leaves the following family and loved ones: Parents Pastors Ed and Nora King of Redemption Church International, sister Laren King, grandparents Paul & Helen King, Aunts & Uncles Andra & Doug Walker, Carlos & Wanda Ramsey , Bill & Kathy Buchanan & Paulette Smith, cousins Hannah Buchanan, Anthony Daniels, Scott Thompson & Heather Pratt, extended family dozens upon dozens of close relatives and friends far too numerous to mention in the space provided. Receiving of friends will be held at Redemption Church International on Wednesday evening at 6 followed immediately by the memorial service at 7:30. A public graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Cemetery at 10 am on Thursday.
