Rowena Huskey, age 90, of Alcoa, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Rowena was a member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church and the Fellowship S.S class. She was also a client of B.C.S.O Senior Outreach. Preceded in death by her mother, Dolly Clabo; infant son, James Roy Huskey; grandson, Michael Andrew Huskey; sisters, Nell Spears and Alda Conner. Survived by husband of 73 years, Roy Huskey; son, Donald Huskey and wife Kathy; Sister, Anna Lee Whaley; Grandchildren, Lorie Bean and James Huskey; Step-Grandchildren, Bobby Hendrick, Crystal Hackler and Charles Long; Great-Grandchildren, Carmen, Cameron, Carlee, and Cambree Bean, Wesley Huskey; Step-Great-Grandchildren, Austin and Joseph Hendrick, Gracey and Alyssa Hackler and Cortland Long; and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to B.M.H Hospice. The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home with service following at 6:00 p.m., Pastors Charles Huskey, Jewell McCollum and Jerry Page officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Cemetery in Wears Valley for the graveside service, Dr. Bruce Marston officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the building fund of Alcoa First Methodist Church, 617 Gilbert St. Alcoa or Faithway Fellowship 715 Neff St. Maryville.
