Mrs. Anna Lou Kelley, age 98, passed away February 26, 2011.
She was born November 12, 1912 in Hot Springs, North Carolina to parents Steven and Jenny Justus.
She was a member of New Bethel Church and a loving mother and a faithful friend.
Mrs. Kelley was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: five brothers and two sisters; husband Jonah Kelley, daughter Barbara Kelley Russell, sons Edward Kelley and Carroll Kelley, son-in-law Herbert Sawyer, and daughter-in-law Barbara Ramsey Kelley.
She is survived by sons Paul Kelley of Newport and Charles (Pam) Kelley of Gainesville, TX; daughter Jeanette Kelley Sawyer of Bybee; daughters-in-law Carol Kelley and Elaine Kelley, both of Newport; son-in-law Ronald Russell of Gainesville, TX; grandchildren: Roger Kelley of Knoxville; Kathy Kelley of NC; Donna Sue Gilbert of Newport; Troy Kelley of Sevierville; Paula Kelley Newsome of Morristown; Rodney Kelley of Knoxville; Barry Kelley of Atlanta, GA; Keela Kelley Phillips of Dandridge; Randall Sawyer of Bybee; Kelli Russell and Ryan Russell, both of Gainesville, TX; and Ramona Greene of Blaine, TN; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011, in Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ned Ramsey officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Glendale United Methodist Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment service.
The family received friends Monday evening at the funeral home.
