Watson, Angel Gail, age 6, of Blount County, after a long courageous battle against cancer, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Preceded in death by grandmother, JoAnn Haun (Granny Jo) and grandfathers, Ronnie Hensley, John Henry, Sr., Buford Watson, Sr. and Ronnie Neff, Sr. Cherished and loved by her parents, Betty and John Henry and Buford and Wendy Watson; God parents, Brad and Maria McNutt; brothers and sisters, John Henry III, Buford Watson, David Henry, Drayche Watson, Heaven Britt-Kimbriel and Malaki Britt-Kimbriel; grandparents, Tip and Tracy Boring, Helen and Gary Jackson, Wanda and Ralph Bullen, Rocky Meritt, Peggy Neff, Grandmaw and Grandpaw McCarter, Memaw and Peepaw Haun, Ammaw Juny Upchurch and Papaw Roy and Mammaw Corie Britt. Angel is also survived by aunts and uncles, Tip and Sara, Mitzi and Chris, Willard and Lynette, Candy and Huey, Mike and Ellen, Tina and Johnny, Mellissa and Lonnie, Angel and Greg, Matthew and Chelsie, Shalana and Mike, Shawna and many loving cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, May 20, 2011 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of Angel's life on Saturday, May 21st at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Pastor Mike Vandergriff and Pastor Donnie Walker officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Pink and purple balloons will be released for Angel following the graveside service. Special thanks to Porter Elementary Staff, ETCH-Home Health, Cousin Becky, Judy and Debbie. The family also wishes to thank all of Angel's many friends for their endless prayers and support.
