WHALEY, DORA IRENE WILLIAMS - age 90 of North Knoxville, formerly of Daytona beach, FL, passed away Thursday Nov. 19, 2009 at her home. She was of the Christian faith; retired from Oak Ridge with 41 years service and was preceded in death by loving companion, Gabriel George; parents, Robert and Eula Williams; stepfather, Benjamin Miller Sr.; brothers, Gillis & Herman Williams, Lloyd, Donald "Bud", Ben, & Johnny Miller; sisters, Myrtle Miller Shepherd, Anna Lee Miller Simpson, Bernice Miller Thomas. Survived by; sisters, Martha Jane Miller Blissard, Elizabeth Jo Miller Lombardi, Margaret Miller McCarter Mathena; and many nieces & nephews. Funeral service 11:00a.m. Saturday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Harold Knowles officiating. Family & friends will meet 1:45pm Saturday at Duncan Baldwin Cemetery in New Tazewell for interment at 2:00pm.
