Member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Conner. Tommy was the beloved husband of Julia Conner and a wonderful father to their daughter Jennifer Conner. He is survived by his father, J.C. Conner; sister, Brenda Cruce; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2009, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Cooke officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM interment. The pallbearers are Dwight Stapleton, Mark Satterfield, Bill Cobb, Brian Long, Justin Cruce, and Rob Marcus. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Cannon, and John and Anthony Stapleton.
