(BUD) - age 75, of Knoxville, died Wed., Jan. 19, 2000 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church. For many years he owned & operated a service station at the corner of Island Home & Sevier. He resided in Townsend for the last ten years. Preceded in death by parents, Bernard Francis & Helen Whelehan Campbell; sisters, Patricia Campbell Ranies & Helen Campbell Kidd; Survived by son, Bernard Francis Campbell III of Dallas, Texas; former wife, Evelyn Merrill of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; brother, John Michael Campbell; sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary Ellen & Clark Helton, Martha & Don Meer; brother-in-law, James P. Raines, Sr., all of Knoxville; & many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, & great nephews. Family & friends will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday for a funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Joseph W. Julius & Father Xavier Mankel officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieuof flowers, donations may be sent to St. Francis Catholic Church, 7717 River Rd., Townsend, TN 37882.
