MAYS, BARBARA LEE KING - age 75 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2010 from cancer. She was a member of Knoxville Christian Center. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Harold Mays. She is the loving mother of Judy (Clint) Riggan of Nashville, Jan (Jim) Wells of Vonore and Jim (Irene) Mays of Vancleave, MS. She is the grandmother of Brandon ( Megan) Dunlap of Knoxville, Sharon Miller of Phenix City, AL and Kathy Mays of Vancleave, MS, She is the great-grandmother of T.J. Miller of Phenix, City, AL; brother, Billy King of Mascot. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held 4:00 PM Saturday at Knoxville Christian Center with Reverend Ronnie Jones officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knoxville Christian Center VBS Fund, 818 Cedar Bluff Road, Knoxville, TN 37923.
