Survived by: daughter Joyce McConkey and husband Bill of Powell son Wade Childress of Lenoir City, Bill and Van Childress of Rutledge and Ronald and Connie Childress of Knoxville sisters Ora Harmon, Eva Moore, Ann Arnold and Velda Gunter . She was blessed with 9 grandchildren David and Doug Childress, Tammy and Brian McConkey, Rhonda Bradley, Michael, Matthew, Justin and Erica Childress 11 great-grandchildren devoted friend Thelma Marcee and devoted friend and neighbor Al Richards. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Highland Memorial with a service at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Rev. Elbert Kitts officiating.
