RAMSEY, MEREDITH - age 64 of Lenoir City formerly of Knoxville, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 23, 2005, at his home. Meredith attended Cornerstone Church of God. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War was retired from the Army National Guard with over 20 years service. Meredith retired from JFG in Knoxville after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Jean and his father, Elmer Ramsey. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Simpson, Michele Carmley and husband, Tommy all of Knoxville step-son, Bobby Paskell and wife, Patchus with whom he made his home grandchildren: Tommy, Steven, Timothy, April and Calep mother, Gladys Lynch of Luttrell brother, Harland Lynch sisters, Judy Baker and Sheryl Wyatt several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends will gather at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for funeral services with Rev. Barry Woods officiating.
