THORNTON, LOIS KAY HARRIS - age 57, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2002 at her home. She had been employed by Allied Signal for 30 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle. Mrs. Thornton was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy T. Thornton a son, Jimmy T. Thornton, Jr. and her father, William Harris. She is survived by her sons, William Thornton and wife, Cindy, Michael Thornton and Christopher Thornton, all of Knoxville daughter, Tammy Evans and Amy Thornton both of Knoxville seven grandchildren, Amanda Evens, Zachary Thornton, Alex Thornton, Taylor Thornton Austin Shipley, Hunter Thornton and Cole Thornton her mother, Onie Harris sisters, Jean Ramsey of Lenoir City, Wilma Dawson of Piedmont, SC, Barbara Daniels of Carolina, Puerto Rico, Becky Bentley of Atlanta and several nieces and nephews.
