Virginia (Ginny) Heiskell Sharp, age 70, of Halls passed away December 17, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center Neurosurgery in Durham, NC. She was a member of Halls Primitive Baptist Church, Halls Crossroads Womens’ League, Beaver Brook Womens’ 18-Hole Golf Group, and Bible Study Fellowship Class. Preceded in death by parents, Roscoe and Naomi Heiskell and brothers and sister, Roy, Edward and Mary Nelle Heiskell. Survived by husband of fifty years David E. Sharp. Sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey D. and Gena Marsh Sharp, John C. and Gae Longmire Sharp. Daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer S. and Darren Gaylor. Grandchildren. Jenna Sharp, Natali Sharp, John Andrew Sharp, Megan Gaylor, Josh Gaylor. Sisters, Thelma Heiskell Douglas and husband Gene, Frances Heiskell Russell and husband James. Brothers, Jack Heiskell and wife Bonnie, James Heiskell and special friend Janet Holloway, and Mike Heiskell and wife Connie. Special sister-in-law, Kay Overton and husband Don. Special cousin, Betty Hensley and husband John. Funeral service at 8 pm Tuesday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls-Chapel. Elder Bill Berry and Rev. James Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 am Wednesday at the funeral home and proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an interment service at 11am. Pallbearers: Dwight Sharp, Jason Heiskell, Keith Heiskell, Aaron Russell, Barry Sharp, Danny Gaylor, Blake Childress and Ray Thomas.
