Billie Raye Williams Amburn, age 82, of Greenback, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012, at her residence. She was a lifetime member of Williamsburg Missionary Baptist Church, where she was clerk for the church for over 30 years. Preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Amburn; parents, Edd and Josie Everett Williams; son-in-law, Larry Davis; sisters, Lillian Self, Joyce (Bell) Cope; twin sister, Faye Miller; brother, J.B. Williams. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Margaret Davis, Mary Joyce and Rick Bivens; son and daughter-in-law, James (Jim) and Pat Amburn, all of Greenback; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special friends, Robert and Lorena Crye; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 8 p.m. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel. Rev. Dennis Atkins, Rev. Mike Arp officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Thursday, Four Mile Cemetery, Rev. Ralph Patton officiating. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
