Betty Lynn Sparks Boyce, age 58, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday, January 21, 2010 at her home. She was a member of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bluford and Pearl Sparks; brothers, Junior and Bud Sparks, and Jack Cable; sisters, Brownie Forsythe, Ann Murphy, and Vondell Campbell; brothers-in-law, James Berrong and Les Lambert; and sisters-in-law, Elsie Sparks. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Garland Boyce; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Jenifer Boyce and Shane and Marsha Boyce; grandsons, Jake, Tim, and Tristan Boyce; brother Dale Sparks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Wilma Sparks, Charles and Gail Sparks; sisters, Dean Berrong, Doris White; twin sister, Bobby Lambert; sister and brother-in-law, Wanda and Hugh McGhee; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Kirpekar, Dr. Petty and staff, Dr. McCarty and staff, and Blount Memorial Hospice. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, with Rev. Jerry Little officiating. The interment service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday at New Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
