Trudy Sparks Rayburn , of Etowah , Tenn., went to be with her Heavenly Father Wednesday , March 18 , 2015 . She was a native of Maryville and resident of Etowah since 1958. Trudy was a member of North Etowah Baptist Church and daughter of the late David Ellis and Lona Mae Sparks . Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and Sam Sparks ; sisters, Nola Cannon and infant sister, Bonnie Jean Sparks . Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Dan Rayburn of Etowah , Tenn.; two daughters and son-in-law, Becky and Greg Hovater of Etowah , Tenn., and Dana Holden of Etowah , Tenn.; grandsons who were the joys of her heart, Jesse and Wyatt Holden; sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bob Miller of Maryville, Martha Boring of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Helen Sparks of Townsend; brothers-in-law, Charles Rayburn of Etowah , Tenn., and Ralph Rayburn of Madisonville, Tenn.; sisters-in-law, Ella Jane Rayburn of Etowah , Tenn., and Helen Sparks of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015 , in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Rowland and Bro. Mark Wade officiating. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 , and proceed to Green Hill Cemetery for the 2 p.m. committal service. Memorial contributions may be made to North Etowah Baptist Church, C/O Awana Club, 231 Pennsylvania Ave., Etowah , TN 37331. Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
