Leo J. Siadek, 91, of Tamaroa, passed away at 3:57 P.M., Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Leo had been a farmer and had also retired from Turco Manufacturing. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa.
He was born June 30, 1917 at Tamaroa, IL, the son of Jacob and Katherina (Zybertowicz) Siadek.
He married Cecelia P. Bednarkewicz on June 29, 1936 at Tamaroa, IL and she preceded him in death on November 13, 1999.
He is survived by one daughter - Carol Ann Zelasko and husband Tony of Du Bois, four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one son - Richard Siadek, one daughter - Anna Marie Jaroski-Jones, one infant son, one infant daughter, three brothers, and one sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.
Friends may call from 10 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to the Immaculate Conception Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
