Dickerson, Mildred G. Emory – age 78 of Knoxville passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceded in death by parents, Albert Earl and Rosa Lee Luttrell Emory. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Roger Wright; sons and daughters-in-law, Clyde (Sonny) and Wanda Dickerson, and Tony and Cathy Dickerson; grandchildren, Connie Walker, Donna Dickerson, Jamie Dickerson, Elisha Brown, Roger A.E. Wright; great grandchildren, Megan Walker, Ashley Brown, Olivia Dickerson, Dylan Dickerson, and Haley Brown. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 12, 2009, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home and go in procession to Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM committal service. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
