Vivian Huskey Epperson , 73, of Rossville, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was the oldest charter member of Unity Baptist Church. Mrs. Epperson served as a deacon's wife and actively worked in the church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and enjoyed taking care of her poodles. Mrs. Epperson was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Nora Kyle Huskey ; four brothers; and eight sisters.
Survivors are husband, Wesley Epperson ; son, Jeff (Sandy) Steele, of Ringgold; daughters, Leslie (Kevin) Biddle, of Ringgold, Cindy Fowler, of Rossville; brother, Bill Huskey , of East Ridge, Tenn.; sister, Helen Davis, of Hixson, Tenn.; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Nash and Rev. Steve Fletcher officiating. Interment in National Cemetery.
