MOORE, LILLIAN LUCILLE SCATES age 81, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at NHC Fort Sanders in Knoxville, TN. She was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Foch Moore, parents Howard and Rosa Scates and two brothers, David and Howard, Jr. Surviving are daughters, Martha Poole (Robert) of Chattanooga, TN, and Becky Jarnigan (Ed) of Knoxville, TN.; grandchildren, Jamie Neese (Paul), and Rick Williams both of Chattanooga, TN and Brian Whetstone (April) of Knoxville, TN.; great granddaughters, Brennan and Cierra Williams of Chattanooga, TN. Also surviving are sisters, Grace Beal, Nellie Thomas; brothers, Odes Scates, Douglas Scates (Helen), Don Scates (Mary) and Houston Scates. There are many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Sabra Lennex. Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 10:45 AM at Rocky Hill Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Rhonda Hobbs officiating.
