WEAVER, PAUL A. age 94 of Maryville, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Morningview Village Transitional Care Center. He was born September, 24, 1912, in Luttrell, Tennessee. He was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church, Maryville, where he was a former deacon and institutional representative to the Boy Scouts of America. He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Amanda Weaver. He was a member of the 25 year club at Alcoa where he retired after 42 years of service. He was a 50 year member of the Rockford Masonic Lodge, New Providence Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd degree Mason. The family wishes to express its appreciation for the loving care received from the staff at Morning View Village. He is survived by: his beloved wife of 60 years, Dorothy Gray Weaver; daughter, Margie Parrott and husband Bob of Knoxville; grandchildren, Brian Prince of Houston, Texas, Amy Prince and fiancé James Caponetti of Maryville, Mark Parrott of Sweetwater, Todd Parrott and wife Lisa of Durham, North Carolina, Sean Parrott of Brooklyn, New York, Paul Wohlford and wife Ann of Panama City, Florida; seven great grandchildren; six nieces and one nephew; sister, Mary Lou Weaver Cox of Knoxville. Funeral service will be at 3:00 pm in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Dr. Philip Bembower officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm Tuesday, December 26th in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Boy Scout Troop 88 at New Providence Presbyterian Church, 703 W. Broadway, Maryville, TN 37886.
