Mrs. Helen Louise Williamson Thomas, 51, of Newport, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday morning, December 8, 2001 after a long, hard battle with terminal illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Viola Williamson; and brother, Jimmy Williamson. She is survived by her husband, Randy Thomas, of the home; son, Jake Thomas; grandchildren: Kelsea, Shannon, Kaleb, and Hunter; sister, Barbara Webb, and family; brother, Billy Williamson; nephews: Phillip and Chris Williamson, Dustin Webb; one great-nephew, Cody Moore; nieces, Lisa and Melia Clevenger, Leslie and Alexandria Thomas. Services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2001 at 1 p.m. in Costner-Maloy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ed Frazier officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, December 10, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home. Arrangements by Costner-Maloy.
