SURGENOR , MARGARET L. - age 68, of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. A member of Marble Hill Church of God. Preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. Survivors: husband, Charles Rudy Surgenor ; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Mary Hensley; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Carl Meadows, Cathy and Charlie Branum; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Easter Long, Mattie Stooksberry, and Carolyn Harbin; brother, Jacky Paul; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8 p.m. Wednesday, Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Howard Pannell officiating. Family and friends will leave Rose Mortuary 1:30 p.m. Thursday and proceed to New Gray Cemetery for interment at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
