McGill, Linda Kay Funk –age 59, departed this life on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at UT Hospital. A longtime member of the Volunteer Grange, she was very active in her community. She was a loving wife, a cherished member of a large family, and surrounded herself with many friends. Preceded in death by her father, Glen Funk of Casey, Illinois.
Survivors
Left to mourn her loss is her husband and best friend, Clifford McGill; son, Earl McGill; daughter-in-law, Jane Awl; mother, Bonita Swartz of Casey, Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Ted Blanchard of Casey, Illinois; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Terry England of Westfield, Indiana; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Mary Ann Funk of Casey, Illinois; brother-in-law, Kenny Craig of Casey, Illinois; sister-in-law, Irene Wilson of Sevierville; niece, Cathy Jo Craig Atkins and husband, Todd Atkins of Knoxville; nephews, Roger Craig and wife, Dyann of Decatur, Illinois; Jeremy England of Westfield, Indiana, Jesse Funk of Casey, Illinois; grandnephews, Brandon Atkins of Knoxville, Austin Craig of Decatur, Illinois; grandniece, Morgan Craig of Decatur, Illinois and many friends too many to name.
Service
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2009 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet at Boogertown Cemetery in Sevierville, Tennessee on Saturday, September 26, 2009 for an 11:30 AM graveside service, Rev. Don Ownby officiating.
