WHITE, CECILE ALLENE BEASLEY , - age 63 of Maryville, passed away Saturday evening, July 8, 2000 at the family home. Cecile attended Forest Hill Elementary School & graduated from Everett High School in 1955. She worked for South Central Bell in Maryville & Knoxville. She returned to Maryville when her husband retired from the US Air Force in 1975 and they operated Action Bowling Lanes until 1986. She was hired as a deputy sheriff by former sheriff Don Hobbs and she retired from the BlountCounty Sheriff's Department in 1996. Cecile became a born-again Christian and charter member of Victory Baptist Church at the age of 12, she was later a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. She leaves behind a special pastor, Rev. Buck Ledford & hiswife, Elva, whose teachings so influenced her Christian life and so many special friends too numerous to mention for the fear of omitting even one, she loved them all. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Angela Elizabeth Frederick; parents, James Edward & Beda Beatrice Seabolt Beasley ; brothers & sisters in law, Albert N. & Marlene Smith Beasley ; grandparents, Rev. Jessie & Ella Payne Beasley , William Napolean & Mary Ethel Josephine Rhodes Seabolt ; several aunts & uncles. Survivors: husband, Thomas J. White; son & daughter in law, Brent M. & Jeanne Wells, Plano, Texas; daughter, Cheryl Wells Delph, Bristol; grandchildren, Lee & Christopher Frederick, both of Bristol, Brittany, Mari, & Carlee Wells, all of Plano, Texas; brothers & sisters inlaw, Robert E. & Helen Beasley , Mt. Juliet, Rev. James A. & Joyce Beasley , Maryville; sister & brother, Susan K. & Robert Sizemore, Simpsonville, S.C.; step-children, Jay, Jacque & Cynthia White, all of Texas; 7 step-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; aunts, Geneva Hunsucker, Murphy, N.C., Maxine Satterfield & Irene Shook, both of Maryville; special cousins, Mary J. Timpson, Linda K. Seabolt & Christine Radford, all of Maryville. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2000, Miller Funeral Home Chapel Rev. James Beasley & Rev. Don Woody officiating. Family & friends will meet 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Forest Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home.
