Preceded in death by first husband, Cam Andrew Hammontree; second husband, Otis Clifford Cooper ; children, Jackie Harold Cooper , Clifford Edwin Cooper and infant daughter; parents, Edgar Riley and Millie Ann Boring Carpenter; sisters, Novella Hitson and Pauline Boring; brother, Odis (Ode) Carpenter. Survivors, grandchildren, Susan Kay Orr, J. Denise McDonald, Lisa Cooper Durand, all of Maryville, Gary Edwin Cooper of Illinois and Barbara Denise Digiulio of Nevada; great grandchildren, Joshua Callihan, Alexandria Digiulio, Damon Digiulio and Danea Digiulo; daughter in law, Barbara Jean Nichols Cooper of Illinois; sisters, Ruby Burchfield, Marge Hitson, Vena Miller, and Jean Aikens; several nieces and nephews; she will be missed by everyone who loved her. Funeral service 3:00 p.m. today, February 16, 2004 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Scott Campbell and Lisa Durand officiating. Interment service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
