Preceded in death by parents, James Avery & Martha Paralee Jones Franklin; brothers, Luther, Asbury, Sidney, Jessie Franklin; sisters, Luizza Correll, Dell Whitehead. Survivors: loving wife of 58 years, Nellie Davis Franklin; daughter & son in law, Betty Jo & Bobby Ray Holder of Greenback; son, James Avery Franklin of Maryville; daughter, Phyllis Gale Goforth of Greenback; son & daughter in law, Howard Wade & Barbara Ellen Franklin of Maryville; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Lena Hearon, Sudie Jones, Effie Buchanan all of Maryville; lots of other family and friends.
