Charles “Brother” Fain, age 65, of Dandridge, TN passed away Friday, February 11, 2011. Preceded in death by his parents, James Alfred and Anna Fain and brother, Vinyard Fain. Brother worked as a concrete finisher for many years. He was well known the community and often entertained people with his many jokes and stories. He was the type of person that was always up for a smile and laugh and if you were in a bad mood and needed a spiritual lift, “Brother Fain” was the person to have around. He is survived by five sons oldest being, Chis and Tim Olden; eleven brothers and sisters as follows: James Fain, Kathleen Dockery, Evelyn Evans, Hazel Davis, Florence Evans, Clifford Fain, Sylvester (Sib) Fain, Luther (Timmy) Fain, Johnny Fain, Tony Fain and Gary Fain. He had a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services, Tuesday, February 15, 2011, 2:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Rosie Cuberson officiating. Interment will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to services at FARRAR FUNERAL HOME, DANDRIDGE 865-397-2711
