Survivors: husband, Tom Herington, formerly of Springfield; two sons, James Herington of Chicago and Elijah Herington, at home; daughter, Mariah Herington, at home; sister, Penny Steele Huskey of Jonesborough; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held Nov. 4, 2004, at Trinity Baptist Church, Jonesborough. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Jonesborough. Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Jonesborough was in charge of arrangements.
