FOSTER HOWARD DANIEL - age 88, of Knoxville, passed away 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2000, at the home of his daughter. He was the oldest male member of Lyons Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Mae Ogan Foster; parents, Tom and Lora Foster; sisters, Gladys Whitt, Orangie Brabson and Beulah McDaniel. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Tom Atchley of Strawberry Plains; granddaughter, Janice Atchley; granddaughters and husbands, Cheri and Chris Bell, Emily and Bobby Stanton; great-grandchildren, Valeri, Brett and Landry Stanton, Travis and Tyler Bell; brothers, Ernest B. Foster of Knoxville and Guy Tom Foster of Rutledge. Special thanks to Dr. John Blake and his staff. Family and friends will meet 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lyons Creek Baptist Church to leave in procession for an 11 a.m. graveside service at Thorn Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lyons Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 9235 Strawberry Plains Pike, Strawberry Plains, TN 37871. Arrangements by Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Ave. at Broadway, in charge.
