MARCUM, MRS. DELCIE - age 93, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2001, at the Scott County Hospital. She was born in Scott County on March 5, 1908, and is the daughter of Marion and Martha Stanley Litton. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Marcum; one daughter, Jean Lee; three brothers, Elmer, Lawrence, and Ova Litton; three sisters, Rosetta Thomas, Arizona Marcum and Charity King. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Bennie Phillips of Jefferson City, Tenn., and Wanda Beets and husband, James of Oneida; one sister, Laura Posey; seven grandchildren, Alice Ellis, Carol Tester, Debbie Reagan, Jamie Voss, Judy Curtis, James Beets, Jr. and Paul Lee; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Lon Chenowith and Rev. Chester Morgan officiating. Music by Paul Chitwood. Burial will be in the Litton Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. at West-Murley Funeral Home. West-Murley Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Delcie Marcum.
