Forrest Stuart, 89, of Newport, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at his residence. He was a Baptist by faith and retired from Bush Brothers. Mr. Stuart was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Jackson Stuart; parents, Fred and Polly Watts Stuart; sisters, Bessie, Ivy, Cora, and Lena. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Estel, Aubrey, Arlie, Fred Jr., Griffin, and Luther. He is survived by his daughters, Judy, and son-in-law, Albert Fowler, of Newport, and Betty and son-in-law, Hank Peladeau, of Durham, N.C.; sisters, Daisy, Ellie and brother-in-law, J.B. Worley, of Newport; brothers, Lester Stuart, of Cosby; Orville Stuart, of Newport; and Haskell. Mr. Stuart will also be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Katherine Kalitta and husband Scott, Daren Trudo, Aaron Trudo and wife Amy, Jared Trudo and wife Elizabeth, and Lydia Trudo and his great-grandchildren, Corey and Colin Kalitta and Tyler and Nathan Trudo, and his special friend, Della Parks; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. The family received friends on Monday, March 27, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were Monday, March 27, 2006, at 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 1:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mr. Forrest Stuart.
