LODY, MRS. TRULA MAE (MONROE) - age 94 of Cedars Apartments Maynardville, passed away Monday evening November 8, 2004 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Mrs. Lody retired from the Palm Beach Factory after working there for 30 years. Mrs Lody professed her Baptist faith at an early age. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Cecil Lody and father and mother, Elvin "Obie" Monroe and Lennie Carr Monroe sisters, Edna Sharp and Edith Smith son-in-law, Fred E. Tharp. She is survived by her loving family: daughters, Lena Mae Tharp of Luttrell, Alice Guinn of Maynardville grandchildren, Denver "Denny" Tharp and wife Marty, Conley Tharp, Randy Tharp and wife Polly, Fred Allen Tharp and wife Betty, Charlie Tharp and wife Doris, all of Luttrell and Dyanne Lody of Corryton, who was raised more like a daughter than a granddaughter great-grandchildren, Blake Hopson, SP 4 Denver Tharp Jr. who is stationed at Ft. Campbell, Ky., Rachel Tharp, Corey Tharp, Matthew Tharp, and Tyler Tharp step-great-grandchildren, Sandy Lineham, Shawn Walton, Tommy White and George White great-great-grandchild, Austin Dakota Western step great great-grandchildren, Sawyer Walton, Sierra Walton, James Lineham III brother and sisters, John E. Monroe (Jr.) of Knoxville, Susie Matthews of Kodak, Barbara "Bobbie" Johnson and husband Raymond of Luttrell and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and Swan Kitts and extended family. Graveside service 11 a.m. Thursday at Monroe Cemetery, Rev. Joe McCoy and Rev. Jason Dyer officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. A special thanks to all her friends at the Cedars Apartments and the medical staff of St. Mary's Medical Center. The family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville. The family will be at the Cedars Community Building from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. Thursday. Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville. Our Obituary line is: 865-992-1114.
