She attended Mulberry Gap Methodist Church and enjoyed gospel music. She was an avid antique wood worker, and enjoyed gardening, working in her yard and decorating her home. She was preceded in death by her son, David Jack Rowland; parents, Clayton and Cedia Norwood; and her brother Sherrill Morgan Norwood. She is survived by her brother, Glenn (Selma) Norwood, of Hot Springs, NC; sister, Vonda (Jeff) Grigsby, of Del Rio; nieces and nephews, Tonia Leigh Norwood, Jason Norwood of Del Rio, Glenn Scott Norwood, Brian Thomas Norwood, of Texas, Melanie Ann Moore and Steve Elliott Moore of Del Rio; also other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday, January 4, 2016 at Manes Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in Mulberry Gap Cemetery.
