Julie Renea Ivy, age 32, of Newport, went to Heaven to be with her Lord, Monday, September 7, 2009 at Baptist Hospital West, in Knoxville. She was a faithful member of Indian Creek Church of God. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Irene Miller; and grandfather, John Lane. She is survived by her husband, Willie Ivy; son, Caleb Grant Lane of Newport; mother and stepfather; Gail and Steve Holder of Cosby; stepbrother, Chad Holder of Newport; father and stepmother, Jack and Theresa, and half sisters, McKenzie and Ariel Lane, all of Dandridge; grandfather, John Miller; grandmother, Zelma Lane; special aunts and uncles, Roger and Elaine Conard, Richard and Adailee Sutton, Chris Miller, Larry and Gina Lane, Bobby and Edna Samples, Jerry and Karen Lane and Clyde Lane; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Roella Ivy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Vida Bell, Tommy and Waynella Large, and Wayne V. Ivy; special cousins, Larissa White, Christy Miller and Michael Vasquez; special friends, Jennifer Cowan, Angie Yarborough, and Charlotte McCarter; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Lynn Henry and Rev. Tony Ritchie officiating. Burial will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, September 10, 2009 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
