January 28, 1964 - April 25, 2017 Born in Knoxville, TN Resided in St. Paul, MN John Chandler Cowden, 53, of St. Paul, Minnesota and formerly of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. He was a graduate of South Doyle High School and attended the University of Tennessee. John enjoyed traveling and was a music enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ann Cowden; grandparents, John W. and Dicie Farr, and George and Wilma Cowden. John is survived by his father, Wayne Chandler Cowden; special friend, Christopher Knox; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Second Harvest Food Bank, 136 Harvest Ln, Maryville, TN 37801 The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Friday, April 28th at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour. Family and friends will leave at 3 PM Friday in procession from the funeral home to Boyd's Creek Cemetery for the graveside service and interment. Rev. Jim Knowles and Rev.
