Author: Nelson Morais NEWPORT-More than 100 people attended the burial of three homicide victims on Thursday, June 7, on a hillside 20 miles from Newport. The Rev. Willie Winters called the recent murder of the family of Terri Henderson, Sherman Ellison, and their two-year-old son, Riley, a "senseless tragedy" and that, from this world's perspective, "There's just not words to give you encouragement." He added, however, that in a time of grieving by family members and friends of the Grassy Ford couple and their child, they should look to God for consolation. "I do know this is a time to trust God," the Rev. Winters said. The minister said he knew two characteristics of God Almighty, that, "He is the God of justice ..." and the God of mercy.
