Frances (Fran) Ann Henderson, 54, of Hartford, passed away Tuesday morning at the Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and William Munzenburger. Survivors include her husband, Gene Henderson, of Hartford; children, Christina and her husband, Dewayne Cowan of Newport, and Terrie and her husband, Richard Mayfield of Hartford; sister, Pat and her husband, Frank Pooley of Berlin, New Jersey; brothers, Frank and his wife, Marcella Munzenburger of Woodbury, New Jersey, and Bill Munzenburger of Calleywood, New Jersey; grandchilden, Timmy Henderson of Hartford and Danielle Cowan of Newport; and several best friends. Catholic prayer service will be held Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Chapel. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 5, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with Rev. Ransom Hall officiating. Interment in the Henderson Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Brown Funeral Home. Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
