MONTGOMERY, JORDAN AMANNS - age 20, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ suddenly on Thursday, September 3, 2009 after a car wreck on Emory Rd. Jordan was passionate about everything she believed. She loved outdoors, hiking, camping, snow skiing, and time with family and friends. Her adventuresome spirit was contagious, and she never left an animal as a stray. She was a member of First Baptist Church Powell. She was just recently married to the love of her life husband Joshua Shea Montgomery. She was attending ITT Technical Institute of Knoxville majoring in visual communications, and a long time employee of Bojangles in Powell. She was a beautiful person with a beautiful spirit. Jordan is very loved and sadly missed by husband, Josh; father and mother, Russell and Tracy May Amanns; sister, Devin Amanns; and brother, Shey Amanns; grandparents, Dan and Betty Amanns, Ross and Joanetta Haynes of Powell, Don and Jennie May of Knoxville; aunts and uncles, Danita and Freddy Henry, Ty and Kim Amanns, Danny and Sallie Amanns, Mike and Jan May, and Todd May; first cousins, Crissa May, Alex, Savannah and Gabby Amanns, Hope and Mica Henry, Rebecca and Katie Harvey, Holly, Austin and Savannah Frost; father and mother-in-law, Terry and Sherry Montgomery; brother-in-law, Jeremy Montgomery of Knoxville; and many special great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, 2009 from 1:00-3:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Powell with a funeral service at 3:00 pm with Pastor Phil Jones officiating. A graveside service will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
