He was preceded in death by his parents Greer and Mildred Ottinger; brothers Toby, Willis, Charlie, Red and Hugh Ottinger; sister Joan Combs. He is survived by his spouse Sharan Ottinger; stepson Jason Hill; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends. He will be cremated per his request and a private service will be held by his family at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to a charity of your choice.
