Johnson, James Hubert – age 57 of Knoxville was born January 27, 1952 and passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was an employee of Southside Body Shop for many years. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ira and Eva Hickman, and Oscar and Lucy Johnson; father, Hubert L. Johnson; and brother, Roger L. Johnson. Survived by son, Bradley Johnson and wife Tina; daughter, Jami Tallent and husband David; mother, Mary Johnson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Jimmie Cates, Donna Fawver, Linda and Dean Richards; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Gail Johnson; four grandchildren, Shawn Johnson, Ashley Hensley, Andruw Hensley, and Dylan Tallent; aunt, Nellie Noe; and special friend, Tina Johnson. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Thursday, September 3, 2009, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Al Smith officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM Friday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM interment. Memorials may be made to the Johnson Memorial Fund, 2830 Grove Road, Mascot, TN 37806. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
