Martha June Enloe, age 72, of Scenic Place, Lenoir, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at her residence. She was born June 27, 1937 in Cosby, Tennessee to the late Henry Clay and Martha Williamson McMillon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Wayne Jackson, Jr.; five brothers, Goldman, Amos, Anderson, Gordon, and Kenneth McMillon; and one sister, Flo Jenkins.
Mrs Enloe was office manager at Hibriten Electric and a member of Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne J. Enloe of the home; two daughters, Susan E. Reagan and Victoria E. Woodie, both of Lenoir; one brother, Joe McMillon of Lenoir; three sisters, Ila Wood, Tilda McMillon and Ruth Cone, all of Lenoir; two grandchildren, Melissa Holland of Morganton and Justin Hendrix of Lenoir; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Holland and Ty Holland, both of Morganton.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church conducted by Elder John Jackson. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Reagan, Daniel Woodie, Mark Holland, Robert Cone, Dwayne Anderson and Clay Freeman.
