GRAY, DEZZIE LEE - age 96, widow of Walter Gray , of the Belltown Community, Tellico Plains, passed away 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Wood Presbyterian Home. She was the oldest member of Cane Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: daughter, Lena Gray son, Wayne Gray parents, Rev. Frank and Lena Day brother, Carl Day son-in-law- Verlon Best. Survivors: daughters & sons-in-law, Emma Best- Madisonville, Anita & Larry Ledford, Dean and David Walker, Louise Welch sons & daughters-in-law, Lester Gray , Carl & Molly Gray , Juanita Gray , all of Tellico Plains 13 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren 6 great great grandchildren. Funeral 8 p.m. Thursday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Walter Harold Bivens and her grandsons, Rev. Darwin Ledford, Rev. Jacob Hollingshead and Rev. Jonas Turpin officiating.
