CATE, AARON BENJAMIN (A.B.) - age 66, of Kodak, left this world June 11, 2003 at home. Preceded in death by parents, O.C. and Effie Cate. Survived by wife of 49 years, Polly Ann Cate daughters, Teresa Cate and Marieta Cate son, Aaron Lee Cate and wife, Tanya brother, Clayton Cate and wife, Shirley grandchildren, Christina and Samantha Lewis, Lee Wayne Walker, Heather and Phillip Cate and Jeremy Haire special friends, Blake Lewis, Wayne Walker and Doug Holton. A.B. was retired from St. Mary's Medical Center after many years of service. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church of Kodak. The funeral service will be Friday at 8:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Chapel with Rev. Mike Vincent officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Pleasant Grove Piney Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen and Ronnie Johnson, Robert Farmer, Clyde and Darryl Smith and Wayne Walker. Honorary Pallbearers will be roger Pepper and Steve Carpenter. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in Evergreen Chapel. Evergreen Chapel in charge of arrangements.
