CHARLES CLAUDE FOSTER, of Dandridge, TN, born April 20, 1942 in Hot Springs, NC, died on August 19, 2009. He had a career in the U. S. Navy and during that time he spent two years with the Blue Angels as a ground crew member. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Reva Foster; sister, Marie Osteen; sister-in-law, Frances Foster; brother-in-law, Max Osteen, all of Hot Springs, NC; brother, Jack Foster of Morristown; and brother-in-law, Vergil Elswick of Dandridge. He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Elswick of Dandridge, Veral Elswick of Harmon, VA; sister-in-law, Shirley Foster of Morristown; brother, Homer Foster of Hot Springs, NC; brother-in-law, Earl Elswick of Harmon, VA; nephew, Ronnie Elswick of Dandridge; also several more nieces and nephews in NC, VA and TN. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. in the Mausoleum of Resthaven Memorial Gardens, with the service to follow at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Rev.
