Preceded in death by parents, Rev. James Edgar Elkins and Jessie Elkins; brother James Edgar Elkins, Jr., Survived by loving wife of 54 years Flo Aline Elkins; Daughters, Sheila Hooks & husband Ancil, Rhonda Phibbs & husband Eddie; Fauna Stooksbury, Yvonne Mitchell, Collette Dailey & husband Rick; sons, Dawn Elkins, Barry Elkins & wife, Lisa; sister, Geraldine Moore; Brothers, Harvey Elkins, Demi Elkins; Grandchildren, Greg Hooks & wife Heather; Kim Hooks, Tiffany Stooksbury & daughter Tahnee, Chad Mitchell, Amanda Elkins, Dennis Welch & wife Christina & son Colin; Jonathan Elkins, Jessica Elkins, Ashley Dailey, Richard Dailey. Funeral service Thursday, 2 PM Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Bill Smith, Rev. Paul Adcock & Ancil Hooks officiating. Interment Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
