STOOKSBURY, KYLE F. - 71 of Lenoir City, passed away early Wed., Dec. 6, 2000, at Park West Hospital. Kyle was a member of Central United Methodist Church. He was an Honorary Member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. Kyle was retired from Oak Ridge Laboratory as a Chem-Tech Cost Accountant. After his retirement Kyle worked for many years as a Real Estate Broker in Loudon County. He was a 50 yr. member of Valley Lodge #383 F&AM in Andersonville & was a Past Master. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies & a 32 degree Mason. Kyle was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Shubert Stooksbury; parents, John B. Stooksbury & Elizabeth Sharp Stooksbury; sister, Edna Stooksbury Keeney; brothers, Roy, Carl & Bernie Stooksbury. Survivors: daughter & son-in-law, Jane & Jim Slaughter of Lenoir City; beloved granddaughter who was his pride & joy, Sara Elizabeth Slaughter; sisters, Ruth Human of Norris, Dorothy Heth & husband Chester of Beaufort, S.C.; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, June Stooksbury of Oak Ridge, Annette Stooksbury of Clinton, Benny and Fannie Rhea Shubert, Judy and Wayne Howell all of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-7:45 p.m. Fri. followed by funeralservices at 8 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C. Mark Gooden officiating. A masonic service will follow conferred by Avery Lodge. Graveside services 11 AM Sat. Lake View Cemetery. Pallbearers, Jim & Sara Slaughter, Dale Keeney, Mike & Mark Shubert, David Howell & Ron Lawrence.
