Mr. Ernest "Ernie" Arrowood, III, 34, Newport, passed away Tuesday morning August 11, 2009.
He was a member and deacon of Big Pigeon Primitive Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ernest and Myrtle Arrowood and Carmac and Edna Bryant, and by his uncles A. G. Bryant and Doyle Arrowood.
He is survived by his parents Angeline and Ernest Arrowood, Jr., Newport; sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Sammy Rollins, Newport; sisters Denise Voltz and Rhonda Jordan, both of Colorado; brothers Waylon Arrowood and Adam Arrowood, both of Newport.
Additional survivors include his many special friends including the Sonny Presnell family, Gabriel Asbury, the crew at David Prizer's garage, Delani Stewart, Brennan Ottinger, Jessica McMahan, Kaylee Davis, all his long-time hunting buddies, and several uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews, too numerous to mention.
Family and friends will meet at Brooks Cemetery Thursday, August 13, 2009, at 1:45 p.m. for a two o'clock graveside service. Elder Maurice Shults will officiate. Interment will be in the Brooks Cemetery.
