U.S. Veteran Jerry Ray "Punk" Hux, Jr., age 41, of Parrottsville passed away Monday, November 9, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nelson and Jettie Hux and Bartley Holt, uncles, JW and Gary Wayne Hux
He is survived by daughter, Kasey RayAnn Hux, of the home, mother, Wanda Holt Hux (Tracy Foshie) of Greeneville, father Jerry Hux Sr, of Parrottsville, grandmother, Gertie Holt of Parrottsville, sisters, Jennifer Dodgin (fiancé Slade Claiborne) of Jefferson City, Sonya (Lonnie) Cash of Parrottsville, brothers, Eric Hux and Jason (Veronica) Rollins both of Parrottsville, aunt, Lorene (Mike) Buckner, Ruby (Jeff) Hurr all of Newport, Doris (Carroll) Buckner, Marsha (Jonathan) Southerland both of Bybee, Shirley Banks, Marie Holt, Linda Stuart, and Brenda Lee all of Parrottsville Uncles, JB (Patsy) Hux, Tommy Hux both of Newport, William Hux, Bobby (Libby) Hux of Parrottsville, Eddie Holt and Roger Holt, Jordan Keller all of Parrottsville, neices, Chelsy Bradley, Madison Dodgin, Abby Dodgin all of Jefferson City, Caselyn and Erica Hux of Morristown, Skylar Cash of Parrottsville, Kenadie Rollins of Parrottsville, nephews, Logan Hux of North Carolina, Rowdy and Tyler Rollins of Parrottsville and great niece Ayla Bradley, very loved and special friends, Mr. Johnny Wilson, The Mike Brinson family, the Richard Snoddy family, the Sane family, the Williams family, the Keith Keller family, the Nikki Coggins family, the Cheyenne Hurst family, the Nikkie Ingram family,and Swanna Turner.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at the Brown Funeral Home Friday, November 13, 2015 from 1:30pm-2:30pm for a Celebration of Life service. Interment service with military honors will follow at 3pm in the Faubion Cemetery.
