Bryan Lee Ogle, 56, of Sevierville passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 with his family at his side. He was a loving father, brother, and son. His proudest blessings were his grandchildren. He was an employee at the Sevier County Government for almost 20 years. Bryan was a member of Roaring Fork Baptist Church, the American Legion Post #202, and the Fraternal Order of Police. He began a career in law enforcement in his 20’s and served as a Deputy Sheriff and Constable for over 20 years. Bryan started a boxing career in Knoxville, TN at the Golden Gloves Boxing Arena with his trainer, Ace Miller. He continued his boxing career while he served in the Air Force and earned the title of Light Welter Weight Champion while serving. Upon completion of service, he returned home to open Ogle’s Lake Stop where many gathered for good stories and good times. He was one in a million. You were blessed if you got to call him your friend. “The only people I owe my loyalty to are those who never made me question theirs.”
He was preceded in death by his father, W.H. Ogle, Jr., and grandmother, Sarah “Mom” Ogle.
Bryan in survived by his mother, Lois J. Rodenberger; daughter, Barbara Lynn Carr; sons, Bryan Lee Ogle II, Froy Tinajero and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Ethan Ridge Carr, Kensey Brooke Carr, Koby Tinajero, and Jenna Tinajero; brother, Steve Ogle; step-brother, Casper Shahan; sister, Melinda Ogle Barnes; step-sister, Regina Shahan; and special friend, Tana Eubanks.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday, November 21st with the funeral service to follow at 7 PM in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Pastor Ray Burkett will be officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
