(November 6, 1925 - June 4, 2014) Selma Louise Whitehead Arden Hall, age 88, passed away at her home with her children by her bedside, on June 4, 2014. She was a member of Open Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Henry Harold; husbands, Pearl Arden and James Hall; parents, Wiley and Dell Whitehead; infant great-grandson, Chad Bishop; 9 brothers; and 2 sisters. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Herman Pilkington of Maryville, Stella and Henry Russell of Knoxville, Linda and Ronnie Burns of Seymour, Janie and Junior Bishop of Maryville, Joyce and Grayson Garrett of Maryville, and Wanda Fay Arden of Maryville; brother, Will Whitehead of Maryville; and sister, Dora May Simons of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews. She loved all of her grandbabies; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the Hospice nurses and special friends, Carly and Wendy. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel. Interment will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Chilhowee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
